Terms of Membership

Last updated 3 November 2026

Draft: These terms are a plain-English starting point, not legal advice. Fill in the [bracketed] details and have them checked by a solicitor before taking live payments.

These terms cover your use of the Teesside Traders Hub website, the £9.99 monthly Hub Membership, VIP Mentorship Days, our meetups and the members’ chat. “We” and “us” means [business name / your full name trading as Teesside Traders Hub], [address], contactable at hello@teessidetradershub.co.uk.

1. Education only, never advice

Everything we provide (videos, downloads, calculators, meetups, mentorship and anything said in the chat) is general education about how markets and risk management work. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and we do not give financial advice, investment recommendations, trading signals or account management. Nothing we provide is a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.

Trading Forex and CFDs on margin is high risk. Most retail accounts lose money and you can lose more than your deposit. Every decision you make in the markets is yours alone, and you should only ever trade money you can afford to lose.

2. Hub Membership (£9.99 a month)

  • Membership is a rolling monthly subscription, charged to your card on the same date each month via Stripe.
  • It includes access to the Vault, the members’ downloads and tools, the members’ chat, and RSVPs to our meetups while seats are available. Seats are first come, first served.
  • You can cancel at any time from Billing in your dashboard. You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
  • 14-day money-back promise: if you cancel within 14 days of first joining, email us and we’ll refund your first payment in full, no questions asked.
  • We may change the price with at least 30 days’ notice by email. You can cancel before it takes effect.

3. VIP Mentorship Days (£300)

  • VIP Days are by application, limited to two people a month, and paid in advance when you apply.
  • After you pay, we’ll call you within 3 working days to talk through your application and book a date. If we don’t think we can genuinely help you, we’ll tell you on that call and refund you in full.
  • You can cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before your booked date, or rearrange once for free with at least 48 hours’ notice. [Decide your policy for later cancellations and no-shows.]
  • The 30 days of chart reviews are educational feedback on your own process. We won’t tell you what to trade.

4. Ranks, streaks and the leaderboard

Members earn XP and ranks by showing up regularly, not by trading results. Ranks have no cash value, can go down as well as up (see “How ranks work” on your dashboard) and we may adjust the rules to keep them fair. Your display name, rank and streak are visible to other members.

5. Meetups

  • Meetups are held in public venues. You’re responsible for your own travel, food, drink and belongings.
  • Please cancel your RSVP if you can’t make it, so someone else can have the seat.
  • We may change or cancel a meetup at short notice; we’ll tell attendees as soon as we can.

6. House rules (chat, profiles, direct messages and meetups)

The Hub only works if it stays honest. You agree not to:

  • sell, promote or recruit for signals, copy trading, “account management”, courses or paid groups;
  • give anyone personal advice on what to trade, or ask anyone for money or their broker logins;
  • post screenshots of profits to show off, or pressure anyone into taking risk;
  • harass, abuse or discriminate against anyone, or share anyone’s personal details;
  • share Vault videos or downloads outside the Hub;
  • use your profile, friend requests or direct messages to advertise, recruit or ask anyone for money;
  • upload a profile picture that is offensive, impersonates someone else, or isn’t yours to use.

Direct messages are only possible between members who have accepted each other as friends. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable or tries to sell you something, unfriend them and tell us.

We may remove posts and suspend or end a membership that breaks these rules. If we end your membership for a serious breach, we won’t refund the current month.

7. Your account

Your membership is for you only. Sign-in links are sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

8. Our content

The videos, downloads, calculators and written material are ours. You can use them for your own learning and trading records, but you can’t copy, resell or publish them.

9. Our responsibility to you

We provide education with care and skill, but we can’t promise any result, and we are not responsible for any trading losses, however they arise. Our total liability to you is limited to what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will email members about any important changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please email us first and we’ll do our best to sort it out.
